Created and maintained by countless neighborhood volunteers, Baum Grove is a jewel of a park complete with flower and herb gardens, sheltering trees, benches, mosaic chess tables, and a bandstand. Located at the intersection of Fairmont and Roup, Baum Grove is deal for picnicking, frizbee, dog play, leisurely reading, visiting with friends, and enjoying the seasons.

The Montessori Playpark is the beautiful culmination of the efforts of countless neighborhood volunteers. The park features two play areas designed for toddlers and elementary children, and benches, gardens, and open spaces ideal for relaxing visits with friends and neighbors. The park is rarely vacant, and is most often infused with the sounds of kids and families laughing and enjoying the day together.
The Octopus’s Garden
The Octopus's Garden is a whimsical, bountiful community garden on S Aiken replete with shared raised beds, community rain barrels, mosaic sea creature, and a new children’s lending library!
